| Janet's Cabin | |
Over two Thanksgivings, my brother Vic, our friend Mike Wieda, and I skinned up to Janet's Cabin for a few days of off-piste skiing. Up there we met hut masters Mike Zobe and Greg Walter (featured in Couloir magazine) and snowboarder Ben Lieb. We hiked and skied fresh powder every day. In the evenings, we played guitars and games in the cabin, or relaxed in the wood-burning sauna. Quite satisfactory.
